Jersey City is close to Manhattan, but it has a character of its own. Along the Hudson, you’ll find skyline views, waterfront paths, and high-rise buildings. Bergen-Lafayette, the West Side, and Greenville each add more variety to the city’s housing and commercial streets. There’s room to get outdoors, too. Liberty State Park offers open space, waterfront views, and a chance to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island from the New Jersey side.
